Twinbrook Quarter Groundbreaking


September 22, 2021 – Saul Centers, Inc. officially broke ground today on Phase One of Twinbrook Quarter, an amenity-rich multi-phased mixed use redevelopment on an 18-acre parcel adjacent to the Twinbrook Metro Station.

Chairman and CEO. “Twinbrook Quarter’s stellar combination of extensive public open space, high-end apartment homes, exciting shops and restaurants, and Class A Trophy office space will not only be an exciting destination for neighbors and visitors; it will also enhance Rockville’s position as a strong economic competitor in the region.”


Rockville Mayor Bridget Newton said, “This is a great day for the City of Rockville and is testament to the great things that can happen when business, government and the community work together to realize a vision. We are looking forward to welcoming Wegmans and continuing our partnership as Saul Centers moves forward with future phases of Twinbrook Quarter.”
